Kathy A. Dougherty

Kathy Dougherty received her law degree from the Ohio State University in 1992 and that year began representing plaintiffs in the area of personal injury and medical malpractice.

Ms. Dougherty has an extensive medical background. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and an associate’s degree in respiratory therapy. Her 15 years of medical experience includes serving as a respiratory therapist, neonatal nurse, neonatal transport clinician and neonatal nurse practitioner in both Level II and Level III hospitals. Her medical background has helped her to be successful in the settlement of numerous cases, many of which resulted in multi-million dollar recoveries. She has represented injured persons all over Ohio and other states such as Kentucky, West Virginia and Texas.

Ms. Dougherty is admitted to practice law in all courts in Ohio and the Southern District of Ohio and is a member of the Ohio Association for Justice.
