Law enforcement authorities reported that a 26-year-old Cleveland man crashed an allegedly stolen pickup truck into a Westlake bar on Oct. 23. According to police, the man had multiple warrants, and the truck had been reported stolen from Avon Lake. At the time of the accident, the man was reportedly being chased by authorities from both the Avon and Avon Lake police departments.
Two people from Ohio were killed in a car accident that happened in Crawford County on Oct. 17. Two cars were involved in the accident that occurred around 12:35 p.m. In addition to the two fatalities, four other people were injured.

On Oct. 6, a woman in Youngstown suffered fatal injuries in an Interstate 680 accident, authorities reported. The woman was struck by a northbound vehicle after she exited her own car on the highway's median to remove debris that had become lodged beneath her vehicle, authorities said.
