Man killed while working in construction zone, jury awards $39M

According to a report released on April 4, an Ohio jury awarded $39 million to a family of man who was killed while working in a construction zone in Richfield Township in 2010. The man was struck by a passing vehicle, but the driver was not charged with the accident. The man was reportedly wearing the required safety gear, but the family's lawyer stated that the area was extremely dangerous because the company the 41-year-old was working for did not properly protect its employees that night.

Ohio wrong-way accident kills passenger

One person is dead and another seriously injured after an Ohio accident that took place on Interstate 480 in Cleveland on April 5. Police say that the driver who caused the accident was intoxicated at the time. The fatal accident occurred when one vehicle entered the highway's exit ramp.

SUV smashes into buggy in Ohio accident

A 28-year-old man was killed in an accident involving an SUV and buggy. The man was riding in the buggy with four family members at the time of the crash. The fatal accident occurred on Tavern Road in Burton March 30 just before 9 p.m.
